Dave Argabright conducted a conversation with our special guest Mike Curb. Curb has been involved with racing for over 40 years which includes IndyCar, NASCAR, World of Outlaws, USAC, IMSA and many other types of racing. Mike and the crowd really enjoyed the surprise live video call in from one time driver and now IndyCar team owner, Bryan Herta. Curb and Herta discussed how they worked together to win the 2016 Indy 500 with driver Alexander Rossi. Then when The People’s Champ, Dave Darland, called in from the Oval Nationals in California, between heat races, it was really special. Darland and Curb have had a very long relationship which had helped Darland become USAC All-time winningest sprint car driver.

Harold Peters did an amazing job presenting about the genius of Harry Miller, the father of the American race car. Harold went past the stats to tell stories about Miller’s life, relationship with drivers and his family. He even included video clips of speed runs from the 1920’s and meticulously restored Miller cars on the track in recent years.

After almost 15 years of research, Bart Stevens shared tales of the East Coast promoter Sam Nunis. He shared photos and stories from the Nunis family collection. It was also well received when he presented quotes from A.J. Foyt, John Cooper, and Chris Economaki about Sam Nunis and what Nunis meant to auto racing. Bart even included a sound bite from an interview with Mario Andretti about Sam Nunis.
